About this team
This role will manage the delivery and implementation of global supplier quality programs, projects, systems and processes to ensure ongoing supplier quality management mandates are met. This role is also accountable for operating supplier quality programs and processes to ensure both global and regional product integrity policies and processes are met.
A day in the life:
- Manages the design, creation, implementation and operationalization of the global supplier quality CAPA (Corrective Actions, Preventative Actions) program & systems to ensure continuous identification and systemic solutioning for key product integrity and quality issues.
- Manages and drives seasonal supplier quality readiness processes and programs, including seasonal supplier quality reviews and meltdowns at the end of a production season.
- Manages and drives continuous improvement opportunities across global supplier quality, including leading and facilitating cross-functional quality task forces/committees to solve for systemic product and supplier quality issues impacting guest experience.
- Partners closely with Global Product Integrity teams at SSC Vancouver to implement supplier quality solutions that require changes to upstream product creation & development processes.
- Serves as key point of contact for Global Product Integrity Systems at SSC Vancouver to create and update Standard Operating Procedures, supports implementation of the 2SQMS systems (technology + process), and document management.
- Manages key global supplier quality projects (e.g., Project Castle, Better Chemistry, Endzone, Strategic Partnerships, etc.) that require collaboration across the global vendor base and with cross-functional partners.
- Responsible for Chief of Staff duties, including organization of: global supplier quality offsites, global quality vendor summits, vendor onboarding sessions, product voice of guest share backs to global supplier quality teams + vendor base, etc.
- Responsible for creating robust and impactful reporting templates and analyses that powerfully communicate global supplier quality insights and learnings to cross-functional partners at SSC Vancouver and global LLOs.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years’ of experience in a strategic, operational and/or project manager role
- Project Management designation is an asset
- Experience in product or supply chain is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into simplified visuals and language
- Ability to formulate strategies but also execute and operationalize them
- Fluent in English (required) and Cantonese/Mandarin (preferred)
- Ability to produce executive-level PowerPoint presentations and decks (samples of previous work must be provided)
- Excellent relationship-builder; ability to enroll and influence others
- Extremely organized and ability to manage small-to-medium scale projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Systems-mindset; passionate about building processes and achieving operational efficiencies
