Duties
The appointee will report to the Campus Sustainability Section and be required to:
(a) implement projects/programmes to achieve the strategic targets on campus sustainability performance, such as key performance indicators in focused areas as well as monitor and report the progress by soliciting and analysing performance data;
(b) review and draft sustainability policies and guidelines for all campus developments and operations as well as work with stakeholders for its implementation;
(c) engage and liaise with relevant stakeholders in formulating and implementing sustainability/decarbonisation strategies and projects for the University;
(d) lead campus sustainability campaigns to engage stakeholders of the University to nurture green living culture;
(e) assist in collaborating with academic staff in the University and applying the research outputs on campus to achieve the campus sustainability targets and develop a sustainable campus;
(f) provide administrative support to reports, internal and external audits as well as tendering and procurement matters; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree, preferably a higher degree and/or in Mechanical/Electrical/Environmental/Energy/Building Services Engineering, Environmental Science, Computer Science or a related science discipline;
(b) have at least five years of relevant work experience, preferably with substantial experience in managing green / sustainability projects/programmes in a sizable organisation;
(c) have professional qualification/membership related to green building certification, energy, environmental or sustainability management;
(d) have hands-on experience in project management as well as data analytics and supply chain management;
(e) be self-motivated, detail-minded and able to work independently and proactively;
(f) be a good team player in a cross-cultural working environment;
(g) have strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills; and
(h) have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua.
Preference will be given to those who have experience in mobile Apps UI and UX enhancement, data analysis and using visualisation tools.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
