System Administrator (Network Support), Information Technology Services Centre (Ref.: 25/11/ITSC/SA)
 

Duties:

The appointee will be responsible for (i) providing Network support including administration, configuration, upgrade and deployment; (ii) providing IP Phone support; (iii) performing daily system monitoring for servers, wired and wireless network; (iv) IT vendor management; (v) conducting user training sessions and preparation of operation procedures and user guides; (vi) providing support to computer operation and (vii) assists in implementing server virtualization and migration projects and other system administrative work as assigned by his/ her supervisor.


Appointment Criteria:

Applicants should: (i) have a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines; (ii) have at least 3 years’ relevant work experience; (iii) have experience in administering firewall, wired and wireless network devices, IP phone system, VMWare, Active Directory etc.; (iv) have excellent analytical skills; and (v) be proactive, a good team player and able to work independently with capability in compiling documentation and a sense of accountability.


Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
