System Analyst

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory management of hardware and software for the GCIS (Government Computer Information System).
• Contract Management: Participate in project administration and contractor management for the GCIS contract.
• Operational Support: Provide operational support for inventory management, ensuring effective tracking and utilization of resources.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the client advisory team, technical team, and GCIS contractors to support GCIS operations and multiple tenants.
• Capacity Planning: Assist in annual capacity planning for the GCIS to ensure alignment with operational needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience in cloud computing technologies, including server virtualization and security.
• Proven experience in inventory management.
• Experience in contract administration is preferred.
• ITIL certification is preferred.
• Experience in the acceptance of IT infrastructure project deliverables is preferred.
• Knowledge of government procurement procedures is an advantage.
