Test Engineer (Software Development) (5-day Work, Flexible Working Hours)

About us:

Maxson Network Limited specializes in design and development of media solutions including professional video broadcast, digital signage, interactive and mobile solutions for corporate customers in industries such as advertising, entertainment, banking and finance, retail, property management, transportation, and video broadcasting. Job Summary

Be a part of the team to ensure our products and applications meet user requirements and quality standards.

• Develop and execute test cases based on functional specifications and requirements;
• Report and document defects or issues;
• Control software versions and deploy releases;
• Support testing, user training and system implementation;
• Provide production support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot and debug difficult problems.
• Applicants with software testing or quality assurance experience are preferred.
• Understanding of video graphics and broadcast operation workflow a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include developing test scripts, test data sets, and carry out testing to ensure that the features work end-to-end for our customers’ systems. In addition, the engineer will be responsible for building and deploying software releases across different stages and environments. An engineer in this role will also need to collaborate with different development and technical teams within Maxson Network as well as our customers’ users and technical teams, to ensure that the quality of our software meets ours and our customers’ standards.

This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical and communication skills, has the ability to deliver quality work under tight schedules, and work well in a team environment. Occasionally travel is required such as mainland China.
