Professor Wong inherited the wisdom and expertise of his father, Mr. Wong To Yick, and combines Hong Kong's signature folk remedies, magnetic therapy, Chinese herbs, and physical therapy.
Leveraging decades of clinical experience and a passion for Hong Kong's TCM heritage, Professor Wong has established a GMP-standard factory in Hong Kong to scientifically manage the production of traditional Hong Kong medicinal oils and patches. The brand portfolio includes several popular pain relief oil brands, such as “Touch-Cool”, “Herbalgy” and "Tibetred" which are among the best-selling in Hong Kong.
These brands offer convenient home-care solutions based on simple medications, targeting patients with conditions like cervical spondylosis, with the aim of early prevention of various chronic pain issues caused by poor blood circulation in urban lifestyles.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, deploy, and lead the activation of comprehensive sales strategies for Herbalgy's product categories across Hong Kong, China, and the wider region. Ensure these strategies deliver financial objectives and superior in-store presence.
- Develop an integrated sales plan, including annual objectives, priorities, and the resources required to achieve them. Manage the sales business within budget and serve as the customer voice for new initiatives.
- Own the sales planning process, integrating channel strategies into Herbalgy's brand strategies. Develop retail activation plans, category strategies, and customer priorities.
- Develop and execute an annual promotion plan aligned with brand and channel strategies.
- Lead the development and prioritization of AMPS (Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing, and Shelf) objectives, identify execution opportunities, design programs, and provide the necessary tools for the sales team to deliver results.
- Provide input on annual business reviews and top-to-top meetings with key customers (Mannings, Watsons, HKTV mall, etc.), creating category selling stories that align with Herbalgy's strategies.
- Collect and analyze market data from POS and merchandising sources to monitor target achievement and recommend improvement actions. Provide category insights to different channels.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, measuring ROI and market share results.
Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of FMCG trade marketing experience with strong knowledge of the local Hong Kong and China markets, as well as retail channels.
- Experience in managing the Hong Kong market is a must. China and another region besides Hong Kong is an advantage.
- Proficiency in data analysis and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Proven sales management skills, including creating category selling stories, managing pricing and distribution plans.
- Demonstrated excellence in managing promotion to drive effectiveness and efficiency.
- Strategic thinking and strong category management knowledge to provide insights to different channels.
- Result-oriented, proactive, accountable, and self-motivated.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and digital marketing techniques and tools, including social media, SEO, and content marketing (a plus).
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Immediately available highly preferred.
