Utility Specialist Graduate

Responsibilities: 

• Assist the Contract Manager to supervise works carried out on site.
• Read and understand drawings and contract documents necessary for the execution of the works.
• Assist Inspector in carrying out inspections and liaison with other parties.
• Vet and check the reports, drawings, deliverables and the like.
• Assist to prepare site reports; take, keep and update all site records.
• Witness sampling and testing of materials and field tests, and report to the CM.
• Assist on planning of underground utility investigation works to the CM.
• Assist on processing the payment applications submitted by the Contractor.
• Assist on provision of trainings to staff of the Employer on underground utility investigation works.
• Carry out any other duties as directed from time to time by supervising officers.
• Successful candidate will be seconded to work under our client's supervision.
• Work location will be Kwai Chung or Prince Edward.

Requirements: 

• Degree holder or above in Surveying, Engineering, Science or related field.
• Familiarize with Specifications and Method of Measurement for civil engineering works, especially for the underground utility survey and detection of underground features by non-destructive methods.
• Able to read and understand drawings and contract documents.
• Strong coordination and planning skill.
• Good team player and able to communicate with team and supervisor.
• Excellent communication and writing skill, fluent in English and Cantonese
