Wholesale Manager

About the Job 

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Wholesale Manager to drive the growth and profitability of our product offerings, with a focus on photographic equipment, including cameras, lenses, and related accessories. This role involves sourcing and purchasing electronic products, managing a robust supplier network, and overseeing the entire supply chain to optimize product value and performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of international trading, and experience managing relationships with overseas suppliers. 

Key Responsibilities 

Product Management: Source and purchase photographic equipment, cameras, lenses, and electronic accessories to ensure competitive pricing and a high-quality assortment. 

Supplier Network Management: Build and maintain a strong supplier network, negotiating terms to secure the best pricing and fostering long-term partnerships. 

Supply Chain Oversight: Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including delivery schedules, quality control, and adherence to import/export regulations. 

Product Optimization: Continuously evaluate product performance to enhance value, profitability, and alignment with market trends. 

Inventory & Assortment Planning: Plan and maintain optimal product assortments and inventory levels based on customer demand, sales forecasts, and emerging trends. 

Market Analysis & Pricing: Monitor sales trends, adjust pricing strategies, and implement promotional activities to drive revenue growth. 

Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to support online and offline marketing campaigns. 

Reporting: Prepare and analyze product performance reports to guide strategic decision-making. 

About the Candidate 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline. 

Experience: 

Wholesale Manager: 5+ years in a similar role, with leadership experience and a focus on photographic equipment or branded electronic goods. 

Merchandiser: 2+ years of experience in merchandising or wholesale, preferably within the electronics or branded goods industry. 

Exposure to the camera and electronic goods industry is highly desirable.

Retail sector experience and hands-on quality control experience are advantageous.

Skills: 

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Familiarity with ERP systems (Netsuite experience is a plus).

Able to work independently and perform under pressure.

Team-oriented and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.

Flexibility 

Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Assistant Wholesale Manager or Merchandiser position.
