TEACHING ASSISTANT – KINDERGARTEN (ENGLISH INTERNATIONAL STREAM) POK FU LAM CAMPUS (25H/WEEK)

The Teaching Assistant will work alongside classroom teachers and with students across the Early Years curriculum. Responsibilities include assisting in lesson preparation, monitoring student progress, recording assessment data, providing feedback to the teacher, and working with small groups or individual students to enhance their learning. The Teaching Assistant will also supervise students during playground time, field trips, and specialist classes.

What is required and what we are looking for

• Relevant experience as a Teacher Assistant
• Experience in an international school context preferred
• Passion for working with children and a love for teaching
• Knowledge and understanding of how young children develop and learn
• Ability to work effectively in a team and build trusting relationships with students, teachers, and parents
• Flexible and adaptable
• A positive, optimistic attitude
• A willingness to go above and beyond to ensure students get the best experience
• Excellent English speaker proficient written and oral communication (native speaker level)
• Ability to speak or willingness to learn German and/or Cantonese is desirable
