We are searching for a new colleague for our Hong Kong organization to take on the responsibilities of Value Management Manager.
You will report to the Senior Sales Director for all revenue growth management initiatives relating to both on- & off-premises sales channels in the Hong Kong market. You are expected to work closely with commercial teams (i.e. Sales & Marketing) and Finance as a close and inspiring partner for business intelligence.
What you'll be doing:
- Value Management:
Leverage the VM data, tools and analytics to Identify and capture opportunities in maximizing profit and revenue growth and embed Value Management ways of thinking & working into the sales team day-to-day working routine through:
- Business Intelligence:Develop/leverage VM tools/processes to provide insightful recommendations to commercial teams (both on-/off-premises) via extensive analysis across Price, Promotion, Assortment and Trade Terms; Generate market insights to support revenue strategy and other business strategic initiatives.
- Delivery of Commercial/Financial Results: Acting as a business partner with commercial leaders to drive implementation of channel strategies, track results, and turn learnings into actions/solutions.
- Commercial Planning: Embed Value Management in all relevant commercial planning processes and provide inputs to support business decisions, like commercial reviews, business planning and budgeting, etc.
- Managing KPIs:Develop and track KPIs anchored to group/market strategies and must-win-battles, e.g. distributions, rate of sales, profitability, ROI, relative price, customer/portfolio profitability.
- Embedding VM Way of Thinking & Working:Establish Value Management knowledge and capability across functions as the subject matter expert and influential leader.
2. Outlet Execution:
Set up KPIs and execution guidelines to track and grow sales team’s efficiency and execution standard to enhance team's efficiency and execution standard.
3. Projects:
As the main Project Management Lead, the incumbent will represent Hong Kong to drive cross-functional projects, such as Commercial projects, Process-related, Digital Transformation, Team Efficiency.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree holder or higher.
- Commercial Sense: Identify and grasp opportunities in a fast-paced and diverse business environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Understand complex business context; Ability to influence internal/external partners at all levels, with various backgrounds and expertise.
- Communication/Presentation skills: Ability to demonstrate ideas in persuasive and credible manner (trilingual environment).
- Analytical skills: Proficient in MS Excel, strong numerical sense, quick in extracting insights from charts; BI/programming knowledge is a plus.
- Adequate knowledge in P&L and accounting basics.
- Mature and organized: Excellent T&A management, resources management, and understanding of priority.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and highly results-driven.
- Team player, collaborative, and no fear of confrontation.
- Competent in identifying problems and initiating solutions independently.
- Good leadership skills, competent to build and motivate team performance to deliver success through people.
- Enjoy working in a young, energetic, and celebrating environment.
- Around 5 - 8 years experience in retail/FMCG/relevant industry, preferably in business intelligence or sales planning.
- A former management consulting background will be a plus.
