Assistant Finance Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (US MNC)

Reporting to Asia Finance Head, this role is to ensure compliance on the expenditure processes in the Asia region through managing and controlling expense budget and tracking all related spendings and operating costs and facilitating the year-end company audits.

• Collaborate with commercial team to understand their business objectives and financial needs, prepare accurate and timely financial information and performance metrics to provide value-added insights and recommendations.
• Work closely with business units in the development of the annual financial and operating plans (Annual budget and quarterly rolling forecast).
• Track and analyze financial results which are critical to business unit performance (including but not limited to trade spend, standard cost, labor cost, capital spend, product cost, SG&A, etc).
• Create and analyze standard monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for effective and timely communication of financial results to business leaders.  Perform benchmarking and business model analysis; and translate into actionable recommendations for business growth and cost optimization.
• Represent Finance on various collaborative cross-functional teams supporting sales initiatives, pricing strategy, new market penetration, new product development, etc.

Job Specifications

• University graduate in related disciplines
• At least 6 years’ relevant work experience. HKICPA or ACCA finalist or equivalent.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent business acumen.  Good data analysis with attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Good teamplayer with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and prioritize workload
• Highly IT literate
