Warehouse Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire warehouse operations, optimizing space utilization, labor productivity, and operational efficiency;
• Lead and supervise a team, including staff members from the warehouse, packaging, and labelling.;
• Monitor inventory activities, ensuring accurate stocktaking and proper handling of goods received and dispatched;
• Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics and warehouse management;
• Coordinate inter-departmental workflows to ensure seamless operations;
• Lead the team in addressing and resolving warehouse-related issues, working collaboratively with staff at all levels;
• Manage and enhance warehouse facilities, including overseeing renovations and projects;
• Provide analytical insights and compile reports on warehouse performance;
• Offer leadership, guidance, and support to the warehouse team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence;
• Ensure the warehouse adheres to health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment;
• Handle additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Warehouse or Logistics Operations Management;
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in warehouse management within the FMCG or retail industry;
• Familiar with managing both dry and frozen warehouses and daily operational procedures;
• Strong time management, leadership skills, and the ability to perform under pressure;
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (e.g., WMS/SAP/ERP) and logistic procedures;
• A reliable, meticulous, and proactive team player with a positive attitude;
• Proficient in Excel and Chinese word processing;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Assistant Warehouse Manager role.
