Custody Director (Custody Lead)

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Lead the development of Crypto Custody solution interacting with public blockchains for crypto assets management.
• Lead the build, maintain, and optimize Bitcoin/Ethereum node services, and ensure their stable operation.
• Work with Product Managers, Project Managers and management to assemble requirements and deliver functionality.
• Responsible for robustness and cost-effectiveness of wallet-based systems by performing regular code reviews, performance analysis, and stress tests.
• Collaborate effectively within the team, actively participate in shaping technical architectures and solutions, continuously stay updated on and learn new technologies, and pursue emerging technologies.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Able to work independently with minimal guidance on tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related disciplines.
• At least 10 years of experience in application development, with a preference for a background in digital asset exchanges or related fields.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining Bitcoin wallet services or similar blockchain technologies.
• Experience with smart contracts development, digital asset custody, private or public blockchains, custody systems and cryptography is considered a plus for this position.
• Understanding of the corporate IT environment and the unique challenges of cryptocurrency exchanges.
• Understanding of blockchain technology, with preference given to candidates with related project experience.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
