Production Merchandiser

Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to and drive 4 initiatives for GANT sourcing including: Sustainability, Quality, Speed and Transparency;
• Responsible for monitoring critical path including delivery of trims and fabric to supplier for on-time delivery of bulk to designated customers / markets;
• Provide support new supplier on boarding and system updates;
• Ensure suppliers are well-adhered with GANT standard and support in new project roll out and supplier training;
• Collaborate with head office and suppliers to eliminate open issues and mitigate risks of delay in both development and bulk;
• Manage weekly production risk assessment and work on corrective action plan with suppliers;
• Update order status and weekly schedule on delivery process;
• Work with Logistics team and Buying team for shipment, custom issues and delivery;
• Assist in ad hoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

• High Diploma or above in Textile or related discipline;
• 5+ years of relevant working experience, preferably gained in buying office or multi-national companies;
• Familiar with production and schedule;
• Good system and data management;
• A good team player with sound communication and interpersonal skills;
• Attentive to details and good organization skills;
• Good command of English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese);
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, knowledge for PLM & ERP system will be of an advantage;
• Occasional travel is required
