HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?  

  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive event marketing co-op/ partnership strategy that aligns with our business goals to support tourism product development
  • Identify and evaluate potential event marketing co-op opportunities or partners, cultivate relationships with new partners and manage relationships with existing partners to ensure mutual success and satisfaction
  • Lead agreement negotiation, manage budgets, make recommendations on appropriate marketing and promotion support, analyze performance of supported events, ensure successful event launch and achieve business targets
  • Supervise a small team to ensure initiatives are aligned with the business plan, set team goals and individual project business targets
  • Uphold marketing co-op/ partnership/ support and facilitation governance, review and get endorsement of relevant guidelines internally and/or with the respective HKSAR Government departments
  • Incubate entertainment and culinary products
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continually improve our partnership strategies and city events promotion
  • Influence and orchestrate HKTB and other 3rd party city event planning, observe and make recommendation to relevant parties, keep Head Office & World-wide Offices informed about latest event update of all categories

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Communication/ Marketing / Tourism Management or relevant discipline
  • Strong interest and expertise knowledge in event tourism/ marketing/ partnership
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and able to develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to connect dots in complex environment, turn insights into action plan
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals
  • Innovative and resourceful in soliciting and enhancing event partnership and tourism product development
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant event, public relations or marketing experience with 5 years at supervisory level, preferably in MNC/ events industry
  • Experience in organizing, marketing and promoting sizable events
  • Knowledge of the functionality and operation of various government departments/ commercial sectors in the aspects of event tourism is preferred
  • Highly proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
