Job Title:General LedgerAccountant 

Job Type: Full-Time

Location:Hong Kong

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Luminus Hong Kong entity daily accounting activities relating to revenue, cost, inventory, account receivables & payables
• Assist with routine accounts receivable and payable transactions for US entity.
• Prepare accurate, timely journal entries and financial statements per our established month-end & year-end schedule.
• Manage balance sheet general ledgers to reconcile all accounts into the schedules monthly
• Manage cash applications & reconcile bank statements
• Prepare monthly financial reporting/schedules to be sent to the parent company
• Support HK annual audit, along with interim and year-end global financial audit process
• Support HK annual tax returns & other regulatory requirements
• Assist with global R&D projects tracking & cost allocation, and other ad-hoc projects, as needed.

Qualifications for the Position:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business
• 3+ years’ experience in general ledger accounting
• Fluent in Mandarin
• Team player, self-starter, problem solving skills, good interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
• Flexible and willing to take on special projects when necessary
• SAP experience strongly preferred
• Customer-focused attitude, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong Accounting Standards & US GAAP preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
• Title and compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualification.
