Senior Accounting Officer

Job Highlights

• 2 years’ relevant experience
• Knowledge in financial regulations, including FRR
• Immediately available / short notice period

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Finance Department Operations, accounting and financial compliance
• Handle full set of accounts for SFC RAs Type 1, 4, 6, 9.
• Handle daily operation tasks on margin financing service to ensure proper actions are taken
• Prepare FRR for the monitoring of Liquid Capital and SFC filing
• Maintain accurate accounting records in SAP system
• Work closely with the settlement department
• Handle daily client money reconciliation and fund segregation.
• Prepare daily and monthly treasury reports
• Liaise with auditors to carry out annual audit work
• Perform ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting or finance and CPA preferred.
• At least 2 years of managerial experience in SFC licensed corporations with Type 1 RA preferred.
• Well-versed in FRR and stress tests.
• Exposure in IPO process and proficiency in HK listing rules would be an advantage.
• Proficient in the use of PC especially in Excel formula is a MUST.
• Team player, responsible, detail-minded, able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Cantonese.
• Immediate available is a plus
