Senior Financial Controller/ Finance Director

About The Job

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Accounting and Finance functions for the Hong Kong office, while spearheading the Group-level financial and management reporting consolidation process
• Oversee financial accounting & reporting functions; ensure timeliness, accuracy and compliance with all statutory guidelines and legal requirements
• Lead management accounting & reporting functions, including the financial planning and analysis process of budgeting, forecasting, and analyses, to deliver strategic insights to the management team
• Implement and enforce robust internal controls to ensure the integrity of all financial information
• Manage the treasury function, including cash management, liquidity planning, and banking relationships
• Support Group-level finance projects and implement action plans in alignment with company strategic goals and strategies
• Support Group-level corporate finance functions
• Liaise with external auditors to manage the audit process and ensure that recommendations are implemented effectively
• Provide leadership and direction to the finance team for daily operation, fostering an environment of professional growth and compliance with internal policies

About You

Core Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline with professional accounting qualification(s)
• 12+ years of relevant experience, with early training at Big 4 audit firm and strong commercial experience at sizable B2B companies
• Good management skills with hands-on experience in leading a team
• Methodical work style, capable to manage projects and provide target deliverables under tight schedule and pressure
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and reasoning skills
• A self-motivated, detail-oriented team player
• Highly proficient in MS Suite, in particular Excel
• Excellent command in spoken & written English, Cantonese and Mandarin

• Solid experience in business transformations, strategic planning & execution
• Experience in finance technology and system migration
• Passion to drive the business forward, propel innovations and the ability to challenge business ideas
• Positive and energetic with strong business acumen
