Digital IC Design Engineer

Job Descriptions:

• Design and implementation digital logic circuits from architectural definition to RTL designs.
• Collaborate with system architects to define architecture and detailed specifications based on project requirements.
• Create and optimize RTL designs including data path, control logic, and interface modules for various semiconductor applications.
• Conduct thorough simulation and functional verification to ensure correctness and performance of designs.
• Collaborate with synthesis and timing closure team to optimize the design performance and meet project milestones.
• Perform PPAL (performance, power, area and latency) trade-offs analysis.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, design reviews and test plans.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including physical design engineers, software engineers, hardware engineers and validation engineers to ensure successful integration of designs into the overall system.
• Provide support for testing and validation efforts, including debugging and troubleshooting of controller functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering or above, or a related field of experience.
• Proven experience in digital circuit design in IC industry.
• Strong expertise in RTL design, synthesis and verification methodologies.
• Proficiency in industry-standard EDA tools.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, Makefile, etc.) for task automation.
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Capacity to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of protocols and compliance such as PCIe, UCIe or CXL is benefit.
• Experience in ASIC, FPGA and DFT design is a plus.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as junior positions.
