System and Network Engineer

Objective of the Position:

• Provide 2nd tier technical support, support team for daily system & network infrastructure operations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix system and network problems.
• Project implementation & daily operations of system install & configure, testing and change request, etc. 
• To provide technical advice & expertise in network infrastructure design, configuration, and project deployment.
• Conduct system and network changes and patch update process.
• Assist infrastructure ad hoc tasks.

What You'll Do: 

• Plan, design, and implement system and network solutions for different environments including data center networks, LAN, wireless LAN, WAN network infrastructure, SD-WAN and perimeter network security solutions. 
• Manage testing and certifying of network designs, products, and/or services.
• Independently perform technical tasks including network solution design, project implementation, network diagram preparation and UAT testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the project

What You Have: 

• Diploma in computer information technology or equivalent. 
• At least 3 years of experience in technical support and administration for windows and Linux platform.
• Certificate Holders of CCNA, CCNP, FCA or MCSE is a plus.
• Be a good team player and able to learn.
• Proven ability to communicate in Chinese and English.
• Willing to work after office hours and travel when necessary.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for Senior role. 
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Switch and Router (layer 2 & 3), Policy based routing, OSPF, BGP, MPLS and DIA technologies, load balancing, network resilience and redundant design, network segmentation, network performance monitoring & diagnosis.
• Understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching/Firewall.
• Experience working with Fortinet Firewall/ H3C switches.
• Experience with virtualization software.
• Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
