You will be responsible for: -
- Works with the unit’s business functions to understand needs
- Identifies local Sourcing/Procurement opportunities for Local Materials, Indirect, Subcontracting
- Negotiates frame contracts and price lists with suppliers to be used within the unit for the managed category(s)
- Acts as contract owner for the managed category(s)
- Contract coverage % and quality in area of responsibility
- Supports the implementation of global/area category plan(s)
- Handle daily inquiries with benchmarking (run RFQ) to suggest competitive source(s)
- Support Purchasing tasks and act as first escalation point
- Prepare and drive local Procurement strategy for specific category(s)
- Defines source plans for customer projects and works closely with project team to understand real customer needs (ESI)
- Supports the update of local instructions and policies, provides guidance and supports business in following/using preferred suppliers and ensuring compliance
- Savings performance in sourcing projects and savings data accuracy
We expect you to have: -
- Degree or above in any discipline
- Solid working experience in the elevator and escalator industry or Engineering or Procurement background is an advantage
- Solid working experience for SAP is an advantage
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Fluency in spoken & written Chinese, English and Mandarin
- Willing to learn
- Good Team Player
- Immediate available is an advantage
