About The Job

As an AI Manager, you will lead the development and deployment of production AI solutions specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision (CV). You’ll architect systems that strategically combine models to enhance performance, driving projects from research to deployment while aligning cross-functional stakeholders. While deep expertise in NLP or CV is essential, experience with agentic systems or augmented analytics would be a valuable complement to tackle advanced use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AI project lifecycle management for NLP and CV applications
• Design and optimize NLP systems including text classification, named entity recognition, and language generation
• Develop and implement CV solutions for object detection, image classification, and video analysis
• Architect AI solutions that may combine multiple models through aggregation when beneficial
• Manage the integration of large language models (LLMs) and multimodal AI systems
• Manage the maintenance of NLP, CV and LLM systems to ensure reliability and performance
• Collaborate with data scientists to optimize model performance and scalability
• Establish best practices for data processing and model evaluation pipelines
• Monitor production AI systems and implement continuous improvements
• Stay updated with advancements in NLP and LLM research, incorporating relevant techniques into projects.

About You

Core Competencies  

• Master’s and above in computer science, AI, ML, or related field

• 5+ years hands-on AI/ML experience, including 2+ years managing end-to-end AI projects in production environments

• Hands-on NLP expertise: Transformers (BERT, GPT), LLM fine-tuning (DeepSeek, Claude), and Chinese NLP applications
• Production-level computer vision experience: CNNs, vision transformers, and multimodal AI systems
• Proficient in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and cloud-based MLOps deployment
• Practical experience with model aggregation, ensemble methods, and multimodal system integration
• Track record of deploying optimized LLMs for domain-specific use cases
• Fluency in English and Putonghua

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agentic AI systems or augmented analytics platforms
• Publications or patents in NLP/CV fields

• Strong track record in international AI competitions and/or with patents or publications in top-tier NLP/ML/CV venues
