Job Description

JOCKEY CLUB DESIGN INSTITUTE FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION

Assistant Executive Officer(Ref. 250410004-IE)

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) perform duties related to human resources matters and team coordination;

(b) manage efficient office administration and systematic record-keeping;

(c) coordinate procurement, payments, financial processes and inventory management;

(d) provide secretarial and logistical support for meetings and committee engagements;

(e) support digital presence initiatives including website content management, marketing collaterals and communications;

(f) assist in organising and coordinating events, exhibitions as well as engaging experiences for participants;

(g) build relationships with community partners, internal departments and external organisations to advance the Institute's mission; and

(h) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation or his/her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a) a recognised degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or other related disciplines;

(b) at least three years of relevant experience demonstrating organisational excellence;

(c) digital fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge of Adobe Illustrator would be an advantage;

(d) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua;

(e) strong communication skills, preferably with multimedia and social media skills;

(f) the ability to work collaboratively with a proactive mindset and embrace fresh ideas;

(g) the ability to manage multiple priorities with initiative independently; and

(h) adaptability and willingness to embrace new challenges.

Preference will be given to those with experience in partnerships, fundraising or non-profit sector.

The appointee may be required to work occasionally outside normal office hours.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
