Job Description
The applicant must possess
- a recognized degree is required;
- a minimum of 7 years’ working experience is required. Experience on serving in the Registry of Higher Education Institutes is preferred;
- hands-on experience in managing projects, overseeing operations, developing strategies and formulating policies;
- knowledge and experience on set up and manage Curriculum Management and E-scheduling System would be a definite asset;
- a strong sense of excellence and professionalism with a commitment towards best practices in updating and developing policies and guidelines for the continuous improvement;
- good communication skills and be able to establish working relationship with government, industry, stakeholders and internal parties;
- excellent people management skills and good in presentation; and
- excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Duties include
- to oversee the operations of student services departments of the Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC);
- to set up the Student Service Related Systems for centrally handling the registry services, student records, student services, etc.;
- to assist in exploring opportunities for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of various functions of HKIC with a view to maximize opportunities, meet challenges and avert risks;
- to co-ordinate the various initiatives and implementation measures for enhancement and report the progress regularly to the senior management;
- to consolidate figures for HKIC and prepare relevant documents for regular reporting;
- to assist in carrying out a wide spectrum of duties including information research and analysis, providing technical advice and support, compiling reports as well as drafting correspondence, discussion papers, study briefs, etc.;
- to provide support in CIC events and various ad hoc assignments as and when required; and
- to carry out any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director from time to time.
