Job Description

The Assistant Manager, Creative Design plays a vital role in leading designers to develop creative assets, like imagery and graphics, diagrams, video, animated illustrations, etc., for supporting corporate branding and key marketing initiatives. The successful candidate must have strong typography, composition and layout skills as well as be able to work under tight schedules while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.

The Position

  • Lead the team in managing creative design projects from inception to completion. Help develop design concepts, themes, and visual strategies that align with brand identity and marketing objectives
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of design strategies that support business goals and enhance brand perception.
  • Uphold the branding guidelines to ensure all artworks and designs to the public are consistent
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining a library of creative assets, including logos, images, templates, and design files. Ensure that assets are easily accessible and properly archived for future use.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Perform any tasks as assigned by supervisor

The Candidate

  • Degree holder in Design, Creative Media, Multimedia Design, Advertising or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience, preferably with art direction and design experience and gained from advertising and digital marketing industries. Agency experience is highly preferred
  • Excellent sense of art direction, graphic design, good skills on layout presentation and artwork production, strong creative and brainstorming capabilities
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effect
  • Possess strong leadership and sense of responsibility, positive, open-minded and a true team player
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with different parties
  • Good command of Chinese and English
  • Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered.
