Job Description
The Division of Life Science at HKUST is currently seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join as an Assistant Manager within the administrative team.
This role will involve providing essential support to the academic programs within the Division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Engagement and Activities: Act as the coordinator for both internal and external events pertaining to student activities.
- Curriculum Support: Assist in the implementation of the curriculum, ensuring quality assurance measures are met.
- Administrative and Ad-hoc Support: Supervise support staff members and coordinate administrative functions essential for the Division's academic programs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of administrative experience.
- Strong team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with generative AI workplace productivity tools is advantageous.
(Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
