Job Description

Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor/ Professor 

Civil Engineering Department 

            

Responsibilities 

  • Undertake teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
  • ⁠Undertake duties in course/ programme/ curriculum review and development;
  • ⁠Conduct research that leads to publications in top-tier refereed journals;
  • ⁠Engage in high-level consultancy, and other scholarly activities;
  • ⁠Perform academic and administrative duties;
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or his delegate.

 

Requirements

  • PhD in Civil Engineering or a closely related field;
  • Expertise in at least one of the following priority areas is preferred:
  1. Hydraulics, Hydrology, and Water Engineering
  2. Application of Innovative Technologies to Civil Engineering
  3. Project Management/Construction Management
  • Professional qualifications in civil engineering or related disciplines are preferred.
