Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Façade)

Job Responsibilities: 

• Manage and maintain vendor data base and price list;
• Handle sales enquiries of new project tender, including but not limited to cost checking, quotation, coordination with vendors / consultants, communication with clients;
• Identify tender scopes from sets of tender documents and drawings;
• Study and analyze tender requirements, specifications, builders’ attendance, provision, conditions, etc.;
• Handle and monitor Tender Queries (“TQs”) and Tender Clarifications (TCs”);
• Check accuracy of Schedule of Rates (“SOR”) / Bills of Quantities (“BQ”) including quantity take-off and cost checking;
• Acquire sufficient quotes and best prices from vendors for cost comparison and analysis;
• Cost checking, estimating, evaluating, analyzing, reviewing, allocating, distributing and final cost wrap-up works for both pre-contract and post contract works;
• Organize and prepare for company introduction, pre-qualification, tender presentation and interview;
• Prepare and wrap-up documents (i.e. job information, cost summary, budgets, vendors information, etc.), organize and arrange the handover meeting for new project / order intake;
• Liaison with clients / consultants / quantity surveyors for interim payment, evaluation, certificate and records, variation / additional works / contra charge for maintenance orders;
• Monitor and manage final account settlement and project / order closeout for maintenance orders; and
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirements:  

• Must have full working rights for Hong Kong;
• Certificate / Higher Certificate or above in Quantity Surveying / Building Studies / Civil Engineering;
• Preferably with 4 years or above working experience in construction industry, in which minimum of 2 years in related field;
• Good team player with strong negotiation and communication skills with internal and external parties;
• Well-organized, smart, self-motivated, independent and responsible;
• Proficient in both spoken and written Chinese and English, including Putonghua;
• Short notice will be advantage; and
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Quantity Surveyor.
