Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Merchandising & Buying

  • Manage assortment plan across all product categories and seasons
  • Develop and execute effective buying strategies that align with our business objectives
  • Develop and implement merchandising plans, including product assortment, allocation, and pricing strategies
  • Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) and assortment plan across all product categories and seasons

Inventory Control

  • Monitor inventory levels and manage auto replenishment system, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize out-of-stock or overstock situations
  • Facilitate stock transfers, consolidation and replenishment to ensure efficient allocation of inventory and meet demand requirements

Retail & Training

  • Conduct regular store visits and market research to assess product performance, gather customer feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement or new product introductions
  • Analyze product performance, reviewing sell-through rates and customer feedback to inform future buying decisions and merchandising strategies
  • Provide product training to retail staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable and equipped to effectively promote and sell products

Others

  • Collaborate with retail to develop and implement promotional strategies to drive traffic, increase sales, and clear excess inventory in outlet
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform buying decisions
  • Conduct pricing analysis and establish competitive pricing strategies to drive sales

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder in relevant study;
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in brands and multinational companies;
  • Experience in developing and executing buying strategies, implementing merchandising plans, and managing inventory
  • Strong understanding of retail merchandising principles, including product assortment, allocation, and pricing strategies
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret data, identify patterns and trends, and make data-driven buying and merchandising decisions
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate product assortment, allocation, pricing, and promotional strategies
  • Good presentation & communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel
