The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is seeking a passionate and experienced candidate to join the Career Advising Team within the Career Planning & Leadership Development Section.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement career-related services and programmes
- Deliver experiential learning opportunities for students
- Assist the Career Advising Team in expanding the partnership network and establishing collaborations
- Liaise with companies and organizations to facilitate recruitment talks, internships, and career opportunities for students
- Provide support to the organization of various career-related projects and events
- Conduct and compile graduate employment surveys and other employment statistics
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
- Travel to the Mainland or other countries occasionally
- Work outside normal office hours, including weekends, as required
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector
- Strong interest in working with young adults
- Proficient in written and verbal English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
- High level of computer literacy and report writing skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Relevant experience in social media management and website updates
- A collaborative team player with a strong sense of responsibility
- Proactive and able to carry out duties independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
Candidates with less/more experience will be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
