About the Role: 
As a product manager at MeeOpp, you will help lead the strategy, planning, delivery, and continual improvement of our product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and other product managers to refine our product roadmap and drive its execution, taking ownership over key areas of it.

You are pragmatic, empathetic, and are able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical individuals. Our engineering team releases often, and you should be comfortable taking advantage of the release cycle to deliver value quickly and iteratively. Lastly, you’ve seen how technology is changing how people learn, and want to help build the future of personalised learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help to translate business strategy into product strategy
• Own key parts of the product roadmap
• Write requirements and create high-level UI mockups
• Articulate the product vision to your engineers and serve as the product expert
• Lead scrum meetings (planning meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives), speaking on behalf of the target users
• Maintain and prioritise the product backlog
• Gather and analyse feedback from users to shape features and requirements

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of relevant product or project management experience
• Familiarity with agile software development processes
• Familiarity with data analysis tools for extracting insights from user behavior
• Excellent communication skills
• Good technical background (e.g. software development experience, a technical degree, or experience working in a software company)

Bonus Points for:

• Familiarity with UX/UI tools eg. Figma
• Experience with Jira
• Prior work experience in the education or relevant industry
• Some knowledge of Mandarin (beginner level is OK)

Language requirements:

• English fluency (our software development team operates in English, and company meetings are in English)
• Conversational Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus, but is not required
