Job Description

Job Descriptions:

  • Lead the BPM Team in the Cluster/Country by managing, coaching and supporting respective BPM Representatives
  • Support Cluster/Country Head of Air Freight and Regional BPM in identifying and developing talents
  • Seek opportunities to improve productivity and GP control across the Air Freight commercial and operational functions
  • Promote and support a culture and discipline of Continuous Improvement
  • Work closely with Country/Branch Representatives to identify functional improvement opportunities
  • Work with Country/Branch Heads of Air Freight and Regional BPM to evaluate and prioritize opportunities
  • Produce high quality business specifications
  • Drive deployment of tools at Cluster/County level
  • Support regional and corporate BPMs in defining and improving process standards that enable quality, efficiency and economies of scales as well as compliance with global and local regulations relevant for Air Freight Operations including respective implementation
  • Establish the methods and tools to monitor adherence to standards and process quality across Country/Branches
  • Identify local process automation and Business Partner integration opportunities and evaluate business impact
  • Drive implementation of global, regional and local initiatives, (specifically with a view to process centralization near and off-shore to reduce average and marginal unit cost) into Country/Branches as required
  • Establish methods and tools for regularly assessing skill gaps and actions to address same within Air Freight Operations
  • Contribute to creation and maintenance of Air Freight training material
  • Carry out Training Needs Analysis and communicate Country training requirements to Region
  • Coach and support Country/Branch BPM Representatives as required

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree; understanding of Supply Chain Management or Business Process Management. With Logistics background is an asset.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel / CargoWise is a plus
  • Communicate with all levels of management, with different cultures and backgrounds
  • Exhibit excellent organizational analytical skills
  • Work independently and in teams
