Duties
Reporting to the Manager/Assistant Manager of the Office, the appointee is expected to:
- Support the overall central coordination of outbound student exchange programmes and funding arrangements;
- Support the regional coordination of both inbound and outbound student exchange programmes;
- Handle student visa applications and visa-related matters;
- Handle email and telephone enquiries from non-local/local students and their parents;
- Support and organise activities to promote global learning and campus internationalisation, including orientation and student-initiated activities;
- Manage records and databases;
- Provide logistic support for school visits and delegation visits;
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Office for its daily operation; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Frequent interaction with students from a diverse cultural background and liaison with internal and external parties are necessary. Occasional duty travel may be required.
Requirements
5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 2-3 years’ relevant working experience. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); attention to details; good organisational, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills; being a good team player; ability to work independently and under pressure; and proficiency in MS Office are required. Strong knowledge of IT applications and experience in providing IT support are preferred.
Candidates with more than 6 years’ relevant working experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer I.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
