About the Project
Trunk Road T2 Project
The Trunk Road T2 project is located at the Former South Apron of the Kai Tak Development. The main scope includes the construction of a 3.4km dual two-lane trunk road, ventilation buildings, electrical and mechanical services, and other associated works.
The construction will adopt Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) excavation, cut-and-cover, drill-and-break and drill-and-blast methods.
About the Role:
- Provide public, media relations and communication supports in relation to the project;
- Implement communications programs to maintain good relationships with District Councils, local communities and other key stakeholders;
- Prepare project-related publications including the information leaflets, presentation materials, press materials, newsletters, on-site display tools, hoarding decorations, etc.
- Plan, organize and attend public consultations with local organization, green groups and District Councils during or outside normal working hours;
- Answer enquiries and handle complaints from the public on 24-hour basis;
- Manage public communications related to complaints or issues;
- Maintain good relationship with media to generate positive news coverage;
- Plan and organize milestone events for the project, e.g. Groundbreaking Ceremony;
- Manage progress photos and videos. Familiar with photo editing and video production; and
- Conduct other work tasks assigned by the Supervisors.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- University degree in Communications, Public Relations or relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in public affairs, community relations, complaint handling, corporate communications and crisis management;
- Experience in community relations and dealing with District Councils;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ; able to communicate with all levels; must be a team player;
- Ability to work independently to deal with complex and multiple tasks;
- Versatile in issues management and handling crisis and complaints; and
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
- Skillful in Photoshop, Premiere, AI
