Faculty of Law
The appointee will be responsible for (a) performing website and web application development; (b) providing helpdesk support and trouble-shooting IT/audio-visual (AV) services for teachers and students; (c) installing and maintaining computer hardware, software and AV facilities; (d) operating AV facilities for recording, editing and broadcasting lectures and events; and (e) managing computer laboratories and maintaining equipment inventory. He/She will be required to work at the Graduate Law Centre in Central on a rotational basis, and to undertake evening/Saturday duties occasionally.
Applicants should have (i) a Diploma/Certificate or above in Computer Science or related disciplines from a recognised university or technical institute; (ii) familiarity with WordPress, PHP, SQL, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript and HTML; (iii) hands-on experience in supporting MS Windows Active Directory desktop computers, IT/AV facilities, and Office 365 applications; and (iv) a good command of spoken English and good communication skills. Relevant web programming experience and/or knowledge of e-learning platforms will be advantageous.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
