The Role:
Reporting to the Data Marketing Director, this position requires a candidate who has a passion for digital media and Mar-Tech industry. As Data & Analytics Manager, you will help organizations make informed decisions by uncovering and communicating data-driven insights and analysis. You will define the vision, support data team to build and deliver the data & analytics roadmap. Work closely with senior internal and external stakeholders, independently identifying and working with the team to deliver value-adding data analytics projects. You will have the opportunity to work directly with clients and vendors to implement data & analytics strategies alongside a strong agency team for OMG’s client.
Job Description
- Managing a team that executes a range of data analysis and insight projects for regional and local clients. You will propose, create, and present actionable analysis focusing on digital attribution and Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), forecasting, conducting controlled experiments for paid media performance, and marketing / sales / customer journey LTV ROI performance.
- Working closely with senior client stakeholders to understand business objectives, strategic priorities, & challenges they are facing, then proposing solutions based on this understanding.
- Defining, planning, and delivering data & analytics roadmaps, identifying and gaining buy-in for strategic opportunities to deliver value through agency, client, and 3rd party data.
- Advocating and building awareness of data analytics initiatives.
- Overseeing tagging, campaign taxonomy implementation, regular reporting, ensuring data is accurate, complete and up-to-date. You will drive efficiency by streamlining processes and automating report creation where possible.
- Designing client-specific strategic service offerings that will quantitatively demonstrate value through the development and implementation of fresh and innovative marketing approaches that deliver business results.
- Creating an environment where data & analytics professionals can develop their skills and grow their careers through taking on increased responsibility and adding value to the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences or business/marketing related fields
- 4+ years of experience at a media agency, marketing analytics firm or in a quantitative, data-driven field
- Experience with executing digital paid media in SEO, Paid SEM/ Social/ Display is a plus
Skills:
- Hands on experience with SQL, Python, R or programming language
- Digital analytics: Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, Tag Management
- SQL programming and ETL, BI platforms, cloud databases, digital dashboard design
- Experiences with data platforms such as Google ADH, Google Cloud, Google BigQuery, CRM, DMP, CDP platforms is a plus
- Strategic, big picture thinking with the ability to create and clearly explain visions
- Strong communicator and collaborator; able to clearly explain complex technical ideas to multiple audiences and work well with others in cross functional teams
- Project planning and project management. Good team player with excellent time-management and strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects.
- Strong client relationship and internal stakeholders management skills
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Fast learner for new marketing technology
- People management, eagerness to learn and collaborate with others
- Openness to change and willingness to work through challenges
