Job Duties

• Design and develop robust data pipelines and architectures on the cloud, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Optimize data discovery and analytics performance on big data platforms, defining scalable transformation logic and data models.
• Apply advanced data mining and statistical techniques to extract valuable insights and drive data-informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to visualize data and insights, translating complex data mining results into actionable business intelligence.
• Provide expert support and guidance to clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient data engineering experience.
• Troubleshoot and investigate client issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and optimization of client data pipelines and architectures.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and advise clients on best practices and potential improvements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in data engineering with a strong command of SQL, Python, or R.
• A deep passion for data and its applications, with a keen interest in cloud technology and its potential.
• Hands-on experience with popular BI tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx, or Power BI is essential for effective data visualization.
• Proficiency in working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, Azure, and GCP, is highly preferred. This includes experience with cloud-native services and tools.
• Experience with AWS services like AWS Glue, Amazon QuickSight, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon Athena is an added advantage, demonstrating a strong understanding of the AWS ecosystem.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, a leading data warehousing solution, is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of providing technical support and guidance.
