Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager with a strong background in controllership and financial planning & analysis (FP&A). The ideal candidate will have experience at a managerial level in an audit firm and be capable of independently handling complex finance matters.

What you will be working on:

  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and models to guide strategic decision-making and assess the financial impact of various business scenarios.
  • Conduct variance analysis and present findings to management, highlighting areas of concern and recommending corrective actions.
  • Spearhead change management initiatives related to the transition of Project Management teams, ensuring seamless integration of financial processes and support structures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively communicate financial changes and updates to relevant stakeholders.

You are someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on controllership and FP&A, preferably in an audit firm environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Proven experience in change management and the ability to lead and manage transitions effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial information and present it clearly to stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach to team leadership and stakeholder engagement.
