Duties
- Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Director of Student Development Services;
- Schedule meetings, manage the Director’s calendar and coordinate departmental events;
- Assist in office administration and financial matters;
- Handle with sensitive and confidential matters in a professional manner;
- Monitor departmental email account and handle enquiries from all stakeholders; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
The appointee will be required to work beyond normal office hours when necessary.
Requirements
- 5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE, including the English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 6 years’ working experience. Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and relevant administrative/secretarial experience in tertiary institutions or related sectors.
- Ideal candidates should be proactive with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity, open-minded with flexibility, independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Excellent communication, administration, interpersonal and organisation skills; and
- Proficiency in computer applications (such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing).
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
