Executive Assistant to Artistic Director

Main Responsibilities

• Direct report to the Artistic Director
• Provide administrative support to the Artistic Director
• Perform administrative duties to support the daily operation of the artistic team and the dancers
• Be the point of coordination between the artistic team and other departments for the daily running, projects and initiatives
• Assist in handle artistic team’s work visa applications, travel arrangements, monthly attendance, expense claims, medical claims, employee compensation claims and tax issues
• Look after the artistic team’s office, dancers’ studios, rehearsal and performance venues
• Maintain the company schedule and calculation of dancers’ working time and holidays
• Assist the Company Wellness Counsellor to look after the health and wellness of dancers, coordinating physiotherapy support, managing clinical partners
• Assist with rehearsals and performances, and look after creative collaborators, guest artists, and extras in the company’s productions
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the Artistic Director

Requirements

• Must hold Undergraduate Degree
• Degree in arts administration or previous experience in arts administrative advantageous but not required
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
• Independent, mature manner, able to work under pressure and multi-task
• Proficiency in computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese Word
• Flexible working hours, work on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays may be required
• Knowledge in ballet and dance is preferred but not a must
