Job Description
Executive Officer in the Careers and Placement Section of the Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS) (Ref.: 527300) (1 year contract, to commence as soon as possible).
Job Description:
- Contribute towards a more robust and effective support structure for Co-op students, especially through the provision of pre-Co-op preparation and coaching support.
- Support the securing of high-quality Co-op placement opportunities, via enhancing employer partnerships and fostering strong industry connections in Hong Kong and beyond.
- Develop and implement comprehensive pre-Co-op training modules to effectively equip students for their Co-op placements.
- Collaborate with professional coaches to guide students in workplace etiquette, professional behaviour, and Co-op performance.
- Work on the accreditation process for Co-op students following the completion of pre-requisite training modules and coaching sessions.
- Organise networking events connecting employers and Co-op students.
- Support the design and dissemination of publicity and promotional materials to enhance visibility and outreach.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Prior experience in training, talent development, or programme administration is strongly preferred.
Ideal candidates are self-starters, detail-oriented, and possess a positive attitude with the ability to multitask, work independently but also able to collaborate with cross-teams in a matrix setting. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is essential.
