Duties
- Provide administrative support to local undergraduate (UG) admissions, including JUPAS and non-JUPAS admissions, and contribute to the enhancements of this area;
- Work closely with assigned academic departments on local admissions work;
- Support the JUPAS admission operations and update the programme information;
- Assist in the coordination of daily non-JUPAS local admission operations;
- Support the student recruitment activities including delivery of admission talks and preparation of presentation materials;
- Prepare data and statistical reports for local UG admissions;
- Answer email and phone enquiries;
- Liaise with academic/administrative units and external bodies; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years’ relevant administrative experience, preferably gained in administration and operations of University undergraduate admission;
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, experience in giving public presentations would be an advantage;
- Able to cope with multi-task situations with good organising and problem-solving skills;
- Able to work independently and collegially within a team;
- Good command of IT skills to manage data and presentation materials; and
- Strong commitment, ability to work under pressure and capacity of embracing new changes.
Candidates with more than 7 years’ experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer I.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
