Duties
The College of Business is seeking a highly skilled Executive Officer to play a crucial role in fostering alumni engagement and corporate partnerships. The appointees will be responsible for actively engaging with alumni and corporate, organising events, and supporting development initiatives. Major duties include:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance alumni engagement and foster a strong sense of community among alumni;
- Manage, plan and execute programs to engage alumni through events, networking opportunities, and communications;
- Identify and pursue potential corporate partners for strategic collaborations to support the College’s program development and initiatives;
- Design and implement initiatives to promote alumni support for corporate partnerships;
- Maintain an updated alumni database to ensure accurate records of alumni contact information, career updates, and engagement activities;
- Collaborate with the internal communication and PR team to provide regular communications to alumni and corporate partners. This will include generating content for relevant pages on the College website, contributing to College publications and social media sites, as well as delivering a program of alumni communications, which will include a regular e-bulletin, online and offline communications, marketing materials, and promotional videos;
- Support the development and cultivation of alumni support and donor relations, particularly new fundraising initiatives from alumni; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Business/English/Translation/Marketing or related disciplines, with minimum 7 years of working experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or related fields;
- Demonstrated experience in alumni services, alumni relations, event planning, or related roles;
- Experience in building an alumni/donor database management system and managing data in relation to alumni/donor cultivation;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse alumni groups;
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms to effectively engage with alumni;
- Strong organisational and planning skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities; a positive attitude, self-motivation, and the capacity to work independently.
- Must have a flexible attitude and be prepared to attend events, when required, outside of regular office hours and during weekends; and
- Service-oriented and able to work under pressure.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.

Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
