The MBA Programmes of the CUHK Business School are distinguished by their ‘Global Academic Excellence’, ‘LEAP Experience @ BEAM Ecosystem’, and ‘Asian Century Focus’. Reporting to the Administration Director (AD) and Team Head of Academic Affairs (THAA) of the MBA Programme Office (Office), the appointee will mainly focus on the administrative work of academic affairs within the team of Central Academic and Administration (CAA).
The appointee will be responsible for (a) working with the THAA to lead and implement administrative tasks of the Programme Committee and other related academic committees; (b) collaborating with the AD and THAA to organise and co-ordinate the international ranking and global accreditation work for the MBA Programmes; (c) assisting the AD and THAA in crafting programme-level policies, SOPs and action plans; (d) maintaining the annual and monthly administrative working plans and calendars for all functional teams of the Office; (e) assisting the AD to ensure all planned and required tasks and deadlines of each functional team are clearly communicated and tracked; (f) supporting the AD to monitor functional teams to meet and comply with institutional policies, accreditation standards, report-submission requirements, and operational guidelines; (g) maintaining accurate records and documentation of all the related work from the functional teams; and (h) undertaking other impromptu duties as assigned. The appointee should also be willing to assume other administrative roles or duties of the Office as assigned by the Administrative Director.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a Master’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification executive experience in relevant areas of the tertiary education sector; (iv) a strong commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and a high sense of ethics; (v) proficiency in project management and resource management; and (vi) strong self-learning, analytical and problem-solving skills with attentiveness to detail, and the ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines. Prior experience in educational regulations and policy document writing is strongly preferred.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract) commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
