Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Oversee all financial functions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), expense review, financial reporting, cash flow management, and month-end closing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions and processes.
  • Manage daily bank accounts, including monitoring and forecasting cash flows, maintaining adequate liquidity levels, handling bank facilities, in-out flow transactions, currency transactions, and preparing cheque payments, bank instructions, fund transfers, and other related documentation.
  • Lead the financial planning process, including annual budget setting, monthly rolling forecasts, projected cash flows, short- and long-term budget plans, budget monitoring, and management.
  • Participate in the annual budgetary process, collaborating with management and the board to develop and implement new financial processes or workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and develop regular management reports with a high degree of accuracy and deliver them on time.
  • Monitor and manage project audits, developing analytical reports to track funding and costing for individual projects.
  • Liaise with external auditors, funding parties, financial institutions (e.g., banks, money service operators), and other stakeholders on treasury, cash flow management, and operational matters.
  • Manage the full spectrum of bank account documentation and operations, coordinating externally with financial institutions as needed.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks, projects, analyses, and assignments as required by senior management.

Requirements:  

  • Degree holder in Accounting / Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • Qualified ACCA/HKICPA or equivalent internationally recognized accounting qualification is preferred.
  • 10+ years or above of relevant working experience.
  • Familiar with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, detailed-oriented and independent.
  • Able to lead, manage and coach an accounting team.
  • Able to work under pressure and drive for improvement.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese.
  • Proficient in MS application particularly in Excel.
