Graduate Teaching Assistant (3 posts) in the Department of Public and International Affairs (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. T/034/25]
Duties
- Provide teaching support for course teachers;
- Support course administration and development of teaching materials;
- Grade student assignments;
- Assist in programme administration including admissions;
- Handle teaching-related administrative duties as assigned by course leaders;
- Organise co-curricular activities such as company visits and alumni networking activities;
- Assist in coordinating departmental seminars and conferences; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
The appointee may be required to work beyond normal office hours occasionally.
Requirements
A Master’s in Comparative Politics/International Relations/Public Administration. Good command of written and spoken English; familiarity with teaching; ability to work independently; willingness to help; and active learning attitude are required. Teaching background and experience in conducting research are preferred.
