Head of Finance

Job Responsibilities :

• Responsible for planning, leading and monitoring all activities related to financial reporting, financial controls and payment management and tax compliance management
• Responsible for month-end closing, interim, annual audit, internal control, management reports, forecasting and analysis etc.
• Review and prepare the monthly and quarterly reporting for the project
• Review and analyse variances or movements against forecast / budgets / targets
• Share the reporting requirements with project teams to set expectations and timelines
• Liaise with auditors (external and internal) to understand audit requirements
• Plan for audit requirements in financial reporting plan for Business Unit
• Other ad hoc tasks as requested

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines, preferably a fully qualified Accountant in mainland China or equivalent
• Must have/had AMAC fund pracitioner license now or in the past
• Prefer a candidate who passes papers under the HKSFC, in particular Type 1 or 9 activities
• At least 10 years of solid accounting experience or newly qualified accountant from reputable Accounting firms or reputable finance firms
• Native in Putonghua and fluent in written English
• Frequent travelling to mainland, especially Shanghai and Beijng.  Prefer new HK citizens from mainland background.
• Proficient in MS Office especially Excel, experience with JD Edwards is a plus
• Able to work independently and work under pressure to meet tight deadline
• Candidates with less years of experience not considered

► Monthly salary HK$ 60~70k/mth depending on experience
