We are currently seeking a high-caliber professional to join our group as the Head of IT Transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the global head office position with a lean team to coordinate with our group for IT plans, budgets, policies, and strategies for all invested companies.
- Improve IT teams fostering a culture of innovation and constant improvement.
- Drive transformation and digital initiatives through IT technologies, including but not only artificial intelligence, to enhance business processes, decision-making and customer experiences.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry practices to identify opportunities for IT innovation and improvement.
- Act as a highly engaged liaison between technology teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment, engagement, and success of technology projects.
- Oversee the management of IT resources, including infrastructure, applications, and digital platforms.
- Formulate strategy and roadmap of cybersecurity management to safeguard information assets and protect against cyber and technology risks.
- Develop, implement and maintain cybersecurity governance, policy, standards and procedures that align with industry standards, frameworks and good practices.
Key deliverables:
- Develop and oversee IT transformation roadmaps for portfolio companies that aim at improving productivity, product distribution, and manufacturing as well as introducing artificial intelligence to enhance digital services and the digital customer journey.
- Remote-steer/supervise IT teams in portfolio companies focusing on hotels/hospitality in the United Kingdom, Food/FMCG production and distribution in China and New Zealand.
- Monitor IT spending and IT investments of invested companies.
- Oversee IT requirements of home office.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Background as head or deputy head of IT department or IT advisory/consulting or cybersecurity or digital transformation with strong implementation experience or IT service provider with strong experience in transformative projects.
- Strong knowledge of AI technologies and their application in business contexts.
- Proven track record of effectively influencing and managing IT teams in subsidiaries and remote offices.
- Practical experience in:
- IT consulting, planning, and transformation
- Data analytics and data-management
- Cybersecurity (build up and maintain) experience
- E-commence and customer facing digital experience
- Good business acumen to translate business requirements into effective IT solutions.
- A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Proven topical experience, preferably in Hospitality, FMCG, Manufacturing industry and Consumer Products and Services is an advantage.
- Solid experience in driving digital and complex project transformation with proven track record to deliver impactful business results.
- Excellence leadership and communication capabilities to manage and build up rapport with different stakeholders in portfolio companies and holding company.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
