Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
- Set up accounts for new users and assist with password resets.
- Maintain records of system updates, upgrades, and configurations.
- Offer guidance to end-users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
- Assist in the organization's IT security measures, including antivirus and firewall systems.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth functioning of all systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve hardware or software faults.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and best practices in IT support.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency in computer systems, network functions, and software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Strong communication abilities with a customer-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of IT security protocols and data protection practices.
- Certification in IT or relevant field is a plus.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when necessary.
