We are PMD Engineering Ltd, based in Shatin, Hong Kong, part of the Precision Microdrives Group that supply high quality miniature motors and mechanisms into demanding applications across many industries. Who we need

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team in our innovative and open culture where new ideas are encouraged and high-quality engineering is our standard.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Industrial Engineering Manager – for all in-house equipment development
• As part of NPI project team, responsible for designing production line, manufacturing tools & equipment
• Design fixture and calibration process for high precision assemblies
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting for all in-house equipment
• Prepare drawing and documentation for asset commissioning and maintenance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Sourcing, QC team, etc

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in a related field
• Hands-on experience in using Solidworks or equivalent CAD drawing software
• Technical knowledge of robotic systems, including mechanical, electrical and software components preferred
• Knowledge in programming using C#, C/C++ and Python preferred
• Hands-on experience in Micro-controller programming with Arduino or Raspberry PI preferred
• Good at practical and hands-on prototyping works
• Good command of Chinese and English, Self-motivated, mature, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Industrial Engineer
